Mold manufacturing at Plastic Navi factory
Injection molds, usually made of steel, contain cavities in which parts are formed. Melted plastic is injected into the mold, filling the cavities. The mold is cooled and the parts are ejected using pins.
The advantage of injection molding over other processes lies in the precision and high speed with which products can be manufactured. No other process to date can match the quality and consistency of this process when molding plastic.
